How to Make Japanese Rice Balls
Japanese rice balls are one of the easiest things for your child to cook up. It can be eaten anytime of the day – be it breakfast, lunch or dinner and they are also a cute way to get kids to eat healthy.
You can put basically anything in these rice balls and it’s a great way to spruce up your leftovers.

Ingredients:
- Freshly cooked Japanese (or any short-grained rice)
- Salmon / Chicken Floss
- Korean toasted seaweed
- Korean kimchi (optional)
Equipment/Utensil: Rice ball mould (from Daiso)
Steps:
- Scoop some freshly cooked rice into a bowl.
- Add in salmon/chicken floss.
- Add in toasted Korean seaweed and mix well.
- Fill the mould with rice mixture and press down.
- Gently remove from mould.
- Serve with Korean kimchi at the side.
