It marks our commitment to delivering cancer care that is precise, innovative, and supported by personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient. Our vision is to improve outcomes and bring new hope to those living with cancer,” shared Dr John Low Seng Hooi, Chief Executive Officer and Senior Consultant Clinical Oncologist of OncoCare Malaysia.

In his welcome speech, Dr John Low Seng Hooi, CEO and Senior Consultant Clinical Oncologist of OncoCare Malaysia, highlighted the centre’s commitment to delivering innovative, personalised cancer care to improve patient outcomes.
Expanding Access to Advanced Cancer Care
Building on its strong foundation in Singapore, OncoCare Malaysia extends access to advanced, specialist-led cancer care as part of Tamarind Health’s integrated regional network. The centre provides patients with convenient access to a full spectrum of oncology services, from early detection and diagnosis to treatment and survivorship support, all within one setting.
Cancer remains one of the top three causes of death in Malaysia, with breast, colorectal, and lung cancers being among the most common, according to the National Cancer Registry Report. OncoCare aims to bridge care gaps through timely screening, early intervention, and access to advanced therapies.
The 12,000-square-foot centre is designed as an integrated oncology ecosystem, housing 28 chemotherapy bays (22 chairs, 4 open bay beds, and 2 VIP rooms), 7 consultation clinics, and staffed by 5 resident oncologists and 2 visiting specialists in haematology and clinical oncology.

The newly launched oncology facility at OncoCare Malaysia is designed to provide patients with a comfortable and supportive treatment environment.
Led by an experienced team of resident oncologists with a combined 137 years of clinical experience and work experience in Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom, OncoCare Malaysia provides comprehensive and coordinated care supported by Thomson Hospital’s surgical, diagnostic and radiotherapy facilities. This partnership ensures that every patient has access to a full continuum of care from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and support services such as genetic counselling, nutrition and palliative care.
