REVIEW: The World Of Nickelodeon – An Immersive Carnival Featuring Nickelodeon’s Most Popular Characters

Is your child a fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW PatrolTM, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dora the Explorer or Bubble Guppies? If they are, you may want to check out the first ever Nickelodeon themed entertainment centre- The World of Nickelodeon, which is now open till July 23rd 2023 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

What to expect?

The World of Nickelodeon is a ticketed carnival that has been set up across 14,000 square feet. There are about 17 engaging stations with exciting games and activities and lots of photo opportunities. As you enter, you’ll be greeted with the PAW Patrol Lookout Tower where kids can climb up and slide down, as well as a ‘sand’ box – where my kids love to hang out.

What’s Nickelodeon without some slime right? As you enter further, you’ll find the “Slime Lounge”, where your kids can jump into or chill out with some “slime”. Don’t worry parents, it’s not exactly some gooey slime that will stick all over them, it’s basically some green giant bean bags, which have the same effect of swallowing you up when you jump into it.

Other physical activities include Dora Jungle Jump-a-thon, a bouncy castle where the kids can jump around, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vertical Challenge –  which is like a rock climbing wall where they can challenge themselves to complete the climb from one end to another and they can also party on and join in the bubble-bursting mayhem at the Bubble Bash section.

The World of of Nickelodeon also includes a few interactive areas where  they can throw a hundred balls to a fin-tastic score together at Bubble Guppies’ Fisketball game and catch some jellyfish at the SpongeBob Jellyfish Hunt.

The highlight for my boys personally was the bumper car section. The best part was, adults can join in the fun too! Kids can learn how to control the bumper car – which improving their motor skills, while having fun racing and bumping into each other.

Last but not least, the kids also got the chance to meet-and-greet their favourite nickelodeon character – SPONGEBOB! They were super excited and makes a great photo opportunity for the kids too.
