Nutritious Recipes for 50% Faster Growth this Ramadhan

Nutritious Recipes for 50% Faster Growth this Ramadhan

Ramadhan, the most sacred month of the year for Muslims. The many aspects of Ramadhan, such as fasting, prayers, moral values, charity, Quran, family, and Eid provide a valuable opportunity to teach and train children about the beauty of this holy month. To ensure that your children’s growth will not be affected during this period, here are some tips to manage your children’s nourishment during the fasting month.

For the first-timers, try getting them to fast for shorter periods in the beginning – half day or a few hours until they become accustomed and comfortable fasting until sundown.

  • Incorporate the concept of suku- suku separuh (1⁄4 of the plate protein, 1⁄4 carbohydrates, and 1⁄2 fruits and vegetables) during suhoor and iftar.
  • Ensure complete & balanced nutrition by incorporating 2 glasses of PediaSure a day into their meals.
  • Encourage your child to drink water throughout the night before bedtime and during suhoor to keep the body hydrated.

Here are 8 nutritious recipes that will surely entice your little one in getting their complete nutrition this Ramadhan month.
