Yamaha Music Malaysia is thrilled to announce the upcoming 6th Yamaha International Highlight Concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 3.00PM to 5.00PM, at the prestigious Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, KLCC, a state-of-the-art venue for world-class musical performances, blending acoustical brilliance with architectural elegance.
This exciting concert showcases the incredible talents of Yamaha Music School students from 10 different countries, including Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Venezuela, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Thailand.
The Yamaha International Highlight Concert celebrates students who have been immersed in Yamaha’s comprehensive music programs. The event will feature a vibrant mix of performances, including classical piano masterpieces, unique compositions by our young composers from the Junior Original Concert, and lively pop music renditions with singing, drumming, and more, which will be performed on the highly versatile Yamaha Electone Stagea, and the magnificent Yamaha CFX Concert Grand.
One of the concert’s highlights is an improvisation performance, where students—fuelled by creativity and musicality—will craft an original piece based on a short melody suggested by the audience. This embodies Yamaha Music School’s philosophy of “fostering creativity” in music education and demonstrates the transformative power of musical expression.
