The First-Ever Postpartum Oriented Luxury Hotel

Lady Paradise (M) Sdn Bhd, the pioneering postpartum care provider in the country, with over 20 years of industry experience celebrated the groundbreaking unveiling of the first-ever postpartum oriented luxury hotel in Malaysia — Nadora.

Nadora is strategically located in the exclusive, cosmopolitan community of Petaling Jaya, just a stone’s throw away from an established hospital. Slated to open in the second quarter of 2020, Nadora will have more than 40 luxury suites, designed to provide high-quality health care with the focus of ensuring a safe and relaxing environment for the parents and their precious babies.

“We’re eager to start transforming this facility into the jewel of postpartum wellness for mothers to ‘sit the month’ in style,” said Ms Loo, General Manager of Lady Paradise (M) Sdn Bhd.

The Chinese practice of postpartum confinement (zuo yuezi in Mandarin, or “sitting the month”) dates back in literature to the 1st century B.C. And yet it is still practised, with contemporary adjustments, by millions of women in Asia. By combining the expertise of medical practitioners and wellness specialists, and Eastern and Western health modalities, Nadora will be a “one-stop-shop” with the amalgamation of essential services to assist new mothers every step of the way on the journey from pregnancy to parenthood. The thoughtful design of the new hotel coupled with an innovative care model within the facility will provide seamless and hassle-free care for new mothers and babies.

In Nadora, postpartum care is not only a necessity but also a luxury. Nadora offers both scientific nursing care and traditional confinement care. The new mothers will be nourished with traditional and scientifically formulated nutritious and balanced meals to speed up postnatal recovery. From pre and postpartum wellness therapies, yoga sessions, newborn care consultancy to breastfeeding support, babysitting, baby water spa treatment and parenting skill development, as well as a state-of-the-art newborn surveillance system, Nadora’s holistic range of services is designed to provide a loving and nurturing start for motherhood. The baby’s first few months are vital, and Nadora’s team of maternity and parenting experts will provide essential support, advice and respite to ensure that new parents have a smooth, relaxed and highly enjoyable pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.

With an expected completion date in the second quarter of 2020, the multi-million dollar centre will become fully operational in late 2020. Concurrently, Nadora in Singapore is now under renovation and expected to launch within the second quarter of 2020. The hotel in Singapore has over 30 luxury suites with colonial-styled design.
