#3 – Paint like Van Gogh using Forks

Van Gogh really made his paintings come to live with movement. He achieved this with the use of different bright colours, brushstrokes and using very thick paint. Start off with drawing simple shapes on a piece of paper with pencil. You can draw hills, the moon, clouds – keeping it simple.
Then get your kids to start painting, one colour at a time with fairly thick paint and going over it with a fork while creating different lines. It can be straight lines, long wavy lines or short lines. Let your kids have fun and explore this process.
