For all those parents out there, how do you take care of your kids’ diet, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic?

Your kid’s daily routine is kinda haywire, isn’t it?

Your kid sleeps late and wakes up late.

Do they skip their breakfast – the most important meal of the day?

How can you reset their sleeping patterns back to normal days (school-going days) and monitor their diet? Pening-kan?

Well, it’s never too late to start. Here are some ways for you to consider.

If you are one of those parents who let your child sleeps at their own sweet time, skipping their breakfast and waking up late- you have to step up now because an improper diet will affect their growth.

Remember, a good healthy child must start their day with a well-planned sleeping routine and eating proper meals.

So, make sure they sleep and eat well.

2. Monitor What Your Child Eats

According to the Malaysian Nutrition Guidelines by the Ministry of Health, you must eat a variety of foods within your recommended intake.

Your healthy and active child should eat just the right amount of food, although their minds may lead them astray when choosing which foods to eat.

Don’t allow the concept of ‘free flow’ eating where they choose to eat whenever and whatever they like.

Always remember balance food is what they need just like us adults.

Milk provides a variety of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that kids need to support growth and development.

It is a very good source of protein, calcium, and vitamin D.

What’s more, it does the body good, it’s a natural thing to drink while building strong bones. Lots of benefits, indeed.
