The highly anticipated event brought together students, parents, and staff for a dynamic celebration of learning, play, and diversity.

The day began with the unveiling of their newly constructed playground, an exciting outdoor space designed to spark curiosity and adventure. With areas dedicated to climbing, exploring, creative play, and water play, it offers endless opportunities for children to boost their physical skills, social interaction, and just have fun! Students eagerly explored the colourful swings, slides, and climbing structures, while the water and sand play zones quickly became popular spots, encouraging sensory exploration and creativity. Food stalls featured a variety of Malaysian cuisine, offering everyone the chance to enjoy the rich and diverse flavours of the country.

“Our International Day is an opportunity for students to learn about the world’s diversity in a fun and engaging way,” said the Head of School, Ms.Catherine Anthony.“It’s important for our young learners to appreciate and respect the different cultures that make up our school community and beyond.”

The event featured an array of interactive activities, including face painting, carnival games, and booths inspired by different countries, ensuring that students had both an educational and enjoyable day. Parents also took part in the celebrations, contributing their own cultural knowledge and experiences, fostering a warm sense of community.

“We are thrilled to see how the new playground and International Day have brought everyone together,” said a parent. “It’s a reminder of the amazing diversity at BNEY and how much our children gain from being part of such a vibrant, inclusive community.”
