Adhering to the CMCO doesn’t have to be hard. Depending on your outlook of the situation, you can make days at home more colourful and fun for your kids to enjoy and de-stress during these times.

Here’s a simple craft activity you can do with your kids at home using just 3 ingredients- Microwave Salt Dough.

You can easily create any shape or sculpture using just  2 kitchen ingredients mixed with water.

Most importantly, it’s non-toxic.

You can even add some food colouring to the mixture to create a coloured dough, or you can also paint it! The choice is yours!

What do you need?

Ingredients:

How to do it?

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the above ingredients into a dough.
  2. Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth.
  3. Roll out or form into the shapes you want.
  4. Place them on a piece of kitchen paper on top of a microwavable plate and into the microwave for 10 seconds and keep checking it regularly after every 10 seconds until they’re done. This is to make sure it doesn’t get burnt.
  5. Let them cool, and then paint.

And the result is this! Aren’t they beautiful?
