Every year on the 3rd Sunday in June, we celebrate Daddies all over the world.
It’s a day where we honour fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the impact of what Daddies have on their children.
This year is a little different. We went through the Movement Control Order (MCO), where lots of Daddies all over Malaysia were forced to #StayAtHome.
Lots of Daddies stepped up their parenting game and played a huge part in balancing their work, Mummy’s work, the kids, and overall- life at home.
For Daddies who made life during these difficult times that much easier to cope with, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

First, he’s already an awesome husband. Second, he is a hands-on daddy! He put me and my son’s needs first, ALWAYS. He has always been there to help out and he loves being a daddy. My son adores him and always looks forward to spending time with him. My son and I are so lucky to have him in our life.
What would you like to say to hubby?
I just want to say I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU for all the sacrifices you’ve made! You made me a better person, a better wife, and a better mom Thank you for staying up for taking care of our son and let me sleep in sometimes. Thank you for letting me have my “Me Time” even if it’s just for just a short time for me to go grocery shopping, alone. You are the most AMAZING PERSON, Husband, and Daddy!

What makes your husband amazing?
My husband is an amazing person because he sacrificed driving all the way from Johor Bahru to Perak to bring my son and I, from my hometown before the declaration of MCO. He started the journey in the morning at 8 am and drove back to JB on the same day. We arrived JB at about 6 pm. This is because he cannot stand to live far away from us during MCO, which was later announced.
What would you like to say to hubby?
Thank you for everything you do for our family and for taking care of us. I pray for your safety all the time.

What makes your husband amazing?
He is a warm, loving father, who provides reasonable and firm guidance. He is a person who disciplines in a calm and fair manner. No matter how busy he is, he will always make sure that we have a great bonding time through family meals. That will be his time to listen to his kids’ ideas and problems. He also teaches them to overcome the problems in a positive way. He truly is a good role model for his kids because he demonstrates honesty, humility, and responsibility. Snuggling and showing affection towards our children is another thing I admire in him.

Happy Fathers Day to the love of my life, my greatest blessings from God. You are truly the strongest pillar in my life. I appreciate and am grateful for all the sacrifices that you have done for us. Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special like you to be a Dad. I love you.

I have a very hands-on husband and father to my child. He is like the daddy superhero that could do house chores very well and to his commitment in joint parenting. He takes the time and effort to plan activities and to also oversee the homework for my to-be 4yo daughter especially even more during the mco period (when both of us still have to work). I have always admired his great creative mind to keep the little girl occupied.

He’s an amazing husband and dad because he knows how to show the family what love really means. He works very hard to provide for our family, and we all know that a father’s love for his daughter is forever. What makes your husband amazing?
My husband is a great husband and an amazing daddy. Recently, I was not in a good state of health. I was emotionally and physically unstable. So, he helped me a lot by cooking and doing the house chores even though he still has to work during the MCO period (he is a police officer). Yes, he works, he cooks, he cleans and takes care of our son. He spends his time playing, teaching, and playing with our son although he is busy with work and tired. No words can express how grateful I am to all the things he’s done and sacrificed for us. Thank you for everything, my husband.

I would like to say thank you and how grateful I am to have my husband by my side. I wish nothing but only the best for him. I want him to know that I do appreciate all the things he did for us! What makes your husband amazing?
He’s a DAD, he’s the HERO! He has a beautiful bond with our children who adores him dearly. During this COVID-19 pandemic and throughout the CMO & CMCO, he’s been a great support in taking care of the family especially with the cooking. I was amazed to see his new skill (cooking) and I must admit, they were super delicious! Apart from that, I’m also happy to see him doing some fun musical projects with our children. Moreover, he never fails to impress and surprise us daily with his charms and jovial personality. Fatherhood is everything for him and we love him to the moon and back!
