An Iconic Woman, Indeed: Bella Astillah Honoured at Parent’s Choice Awards 2026

As Maya Angelou once wrote, “But still, like dust, I’ll rise.”

A woman’s story does not end with the storms she faces.

For Bella Astillah, that story continues with new beginnings, a growing career and her children by her side. Her strength through personal challenges has resonated with many women who are finding their own way forward.

In recognition of that resilience, Parenthood Media honoured the singer, actress and mother of two with the Most Iconic Woman Personality of the Year award at the 2026 Parents’ Choice Awards. The recognition celebrated her determination to keep moving forward, both as a mother and as a woman pursuing her own dreams.

A Recognition Rooted in Resilience

In her speech, Teresa Chin, founder of the Parents’ Choice Awards, explained the significance of the recognition.

“At Parenthood, we have watched her journey and seen what she has been through. She is the epitome of strength, resilience, and authentic grace,” she said.

Teresa also spoke about the courage and vulnerability behind Bella’s public presence, acknowledging her ability to connect with people across generations. Her words reflected the spirit of the award: recognising a woman whose experiences and determination resonate beyond the entertainment industry.

Now married to the charming Muar MP, Syed Saddiq, Bella has also begun a new chapter in her personal life. Her recognition by Parenthood Media honours the strength she has shown throughout her journey, alongside her commitment to motherhood and her career.

A Family Moment to Remember

Although Bella was unable to attend the ceremony because she was working in London, her family was there to celebrate on her behalf. Her two children, Ayden and Ara, accompanied by her aunt, accepted the award for their mother.

One of the most touching moments came when her son delivered a heartfelt speech, moving guests and bringing a personal dimension to the presentation. With her children accepting the honour, family was at the centre of Bella’s award moment.

In her acceptance message, Bella addressed them directly.

“Mama loves you so much, and I am so proud that you are there to bring this award home,” she said, also thanking her aunt for accompanying them.

Sharing the Recognition with Other Women

Bella expressed her gratitude to Teresa and the Parenthood Media team, saying that recognition from an organisation celebrating family, parenting and women’s strength meant a great deal to her.

She also extended the meaning of the award beyond her own achievements.

“This award is a reminder that every mother, every woman rebuilding her life, every parent doing their best deserves to be celebrated.”

Through this recognition, Parenthood Media celebrated Bella as a public personality and a mother whose perseverance feels familiar to many women.

Her message to fellow parents and winners offered a fitting close: “Keep inspiring, keep loving, and keep choosing your family.”
