The WEMP Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded by Adrian Cheng today announced a strategic alliance with Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation on a shared charitable cause to support mental health among underserved children and parents in Hong Kong. The alliance will realise the true power of synergy by leveraging the experience, resources and strengths of both organisations in education and mental health promotion.

Adrian Cheng, founder of The WEMP Foundation and Peter Cheng, Chairman of Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, today (16th) affirm the strategic partnership and the close collaboration ahead for unique bereavement services for the community.
Adrian Cheng, founder of The WEMP Foundation, said, “We will provide bereavement support to parents and children who may have lost their loved ones.
“With the support from our Philanthropic Partner, Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, we plan to develop targeted, high-level support focused on healthy grieving for children and parents. We are going to apply global best practices, adapt it to our culture and use it as a toolkit, to help children deal with grief whenever they have to face it in their lives.”

The WEMP Foundation is an all-round collaboration platform that brings together children, parents, schools and the community through the collective knowledge and resources of experts from various industries. Since 2021, The WEMP Foundation has benefited over 7,000 students and 14,000 parents. By the end of 2022, The WEMP Foundation plans to introduce Hong Kong’s first education programme that targets early childhood mental health. The programme will bring positive parenting skills training to 10 kindergartens, with the goal of serving 12,000 kindergarten parents and children.
