Sunway Medical Centre celebrated 100th babies and still counting celebrations with their little friends and their parents at SunMed Convention Centre quite recently. This is yet another milestone in the history of its Fertility Centre where 100 babies were born through IVF treatments. The treatments, combined with the latest technology, increases the overall chances for couples to conceive.
The man behind the celebration, Dr Kannappan Palaniappan, Fertility Consultant at Sunway’s Fertility Centre said that the centre was initiated at the end of 2014 with only two nursing staff and two embryologists. Years later, following the highest rate of success, the centre was also awarded “Best Fertility Centre” at the Parent’ Choice Awards 2018 as voted by parents and readers of Parenthood Magazine Malaysia.
Loads of fun-filled activities were organised for the kids such as arts and crafts activities to keep them busy and creative, a colourful mini playground where the children could let loose, and not forgetting a performance by a lively clown as well.
The guests were later treated with a cake-cutting ceremony and a group photo session with all the attendees.
