Cold coffee has become part of everyday life for many young Malaysians. From work breaks and study sessions to movie nights and casual hangouts, iced coffee drinks are increasingly tied to lifestyle, creativity and self-expression.

 

Recognising this growing coffee culture, Nestlé has introduced the new NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate, a premium liquid coffee innovation created for easy cafe-style cold coffee preparation at home.

 

Younger consumers today are exploring coffee in more personalised ways, experimenting with flavours and creating drinks that suit their mood and lifestyle. Global coffee consumption trends also show rising demand for cold coffee beverages, especially among Gen Z consumers who enjoy customisable drink experiences.

 

 

Made with carefully selected Arabica and Robusta beans, NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate delivers a rich and smooth coffee taste in a convenient liquid format. Consumers can easily prepare drinks such as iced lattes, iced Americanos, lemonade coffee and fruity coffee blends within minutes.

 

The concentrate is produced at Nestlé Malaysia’s Sri Muda factory in Shah Alam, which is Nestlé’s first coffee concentrate manufacturing site in Asia and a certified Halal manufacturing hub. The facility reflects Malaysia’s role in Nestlé’s regional innovation and manufacturing network.

 

According to Juan Aranols, Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, the launch reflects evolving coffee preferences among younger consumers who enjoy discovering new coffee experiences.

 

“NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate is set to tap into new and exciting growth opportunities within the evolving coffee space, especially among younger generations who are exploring coffee culture in their own unique way,” he shared.

 

 

Available in three flavour variants; Black, Sweet Vanilla and Velvet Mocha, each bottle can make between 10 to 16 servings, making it suitable for daily enjoyment at home.

 

To celebrate the launch, NESCAFÉ organised a lifestyle-focused event paired with a screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2. Guests enjoyed personalised coffee creations during the cinema experience, reflecting how coffee today fits naturally into entertainment and leisure moments.

 

Ashley, one of the guests at the event, shared how she enjoys experimenting with drinks at home.

 

“I love experimenting with drinks at home and with NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate, I can easily create fun recipes like strawberry lattes or lemonade coffee. It’s so simple and totally my vibe,” she said.

 

With growing interest in personalised drinks and at-home cafe experiences, NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate offers consumers more ways to enjoy coffee throughout the day while exploring their own coffee creations.
