Honour, pamper and celebrate mums, mum-to-be and aspiring mums with a special treat this Mother’s Day at The Resort Café in Sunway Resort. This Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2022, dine on a wonderful spread of seafood on ice, roasted and grilled meat, homemade dim sum, live-action stations and mouth-watering desserts and a specially curated spring-inspired menu by Chef De Cuisine Afham Afiq using fresh flowers in his recipes. The Resort Café’s Mother’s Day buffet lunch is priced at MYR168.00 nett per adult and MYR84.00 nett per child aged 6 to 12 years.
Highlights of the buffet lunch include, a 48-hours Jasmine-cured Salmon served with Sour Cream, Chives and Blinis, a Lavender Seafood Skillet Pie – this hearty dish of perfectly baked Cod, Salmon, Octopus and Shrimp in a lavender-infused velouté encased in flaky puff pastry is a must-try, a comforting Chrysanthemum Chicken Broth with Red Dates, Shiitake and White Fungus and Chef Afiq’s Superfood Rose Salad, a dish filled with a mix of fresh Frisée, Kale, Pomegranate, Grapes, Blueberry, Chia Seeds, Quinoa and Rose-infused Vinaigrette.
To end on a sweet note, our Mother’s Day buffet lunch menu also features exquisite desserts from a Moist Chocolate Lavender Cake, to a Red Velvet Rose Cake to a Chamomile Custard Pie and creamy Elderflower Pannacotta. Exclusively available for takeaway and gifting is a 1.2KG Red Velvet Rose Cake at MYR148+ and a 500g Moist Chocolate Lavender Cake at MYR62+.
There will also be special activities for mother and child on both days including a flower arrangement masterclass and tart decorating with our Chefs, using edible flowers and fresh fruits. Due to a limited number of seats available for the activities, prior reservation is required.
