Dashini Sarawanah, Founder of Wonder Minds Preschool

I send my kids to a preschool that provides CCTV access for parents (I check in on them once in a while if I miss them). I only work from 9 AM to 6 PM and delegate most of my tasks. When my kids are back, I’m a full-time mom. Once they go to bed at 8 PM, I’m a full-time wife. On weekends, I spend a lot of time with family—that’s how I manage!

As a full time mom AND entrepreneur, I heavily rely on Kiddocare to be there when I open pop up booths. The carer will either meet me at home or at the event itself so she can take care of my son while I work. He gets cared for, I get to work and he is closeby to me so I can monitor everything. My mind is at ease, and I get so much work done!

For me Alhamdulillah I’m actually blessed with a helper but on days when my helper goes back to her hometown, I actually would send my eldest to her preschool and for my toddler, sometimes my mother or my husband will take her for about max 2/3 hours for me to get my things sorted out.

Cooking wise I like to do meal prep and just heat up later on. I will do meal prep that can last for 5-7 days and store it in the freezer. This actually keeps me sane. Haha. You know what they say you need to keep yourself sane for you to take care of others 😌🤍. Hugs to all mommies.

Chen Shiqin, Founder of HaruPlate

We have this one-on-one date with each kid. One kid, one date – 4 kids ngam the whole month It keeps the kids balanced in terms of looking forward to something. It helps us a lot as parents as well, because we can just focus on one kid, rather than feeling like wah bring 4 out, then guilty because have to spread thin.

We also rope the kids in for housework and make it fun. Like get them to sort out their toy cupboard, clothes etc. It’s a great way to discover new-old clothes hehehe. Cooking wise – we have this fun schedule with our kids:

  • Weird Wednesdays – we try a new ingredient, or like a weird new recipe.
  • Fry-Friday – this one needs no explanation. We usually eat out hahaha.
  • Manic Mondays – we do easy recipes, one pot kind. Porridge la, pasta la. More boring but the kids won’t complain because it’s “in theme” hehehe.

Lyanahusni, Corporate Slave & Mom to Mikael & Ilhan

For me, after I drop my kids at preschool, I will go for a Pilates session and settle some work at the cafe or prepare meals for dinner at home. After 5pm when my kids are back, Im a full time mom.

Weekends we go for pickleball but I will bring Kiddocare along so that I can spend time playing pickleball with my husband while Kiddocare look after the kids. Happy mom, happy wife, and happy family ❤️

Nor Izzati Nordin, Mom of 4 & Founder of Suci Cup

For me with my bigger kids, I win time getting their help- little help like washing their own plates or setting the table for dinner. My bigger boys 9 & 10 have started hanging the laundry. It’s not perfect but it helps so much. I just need to “betul2” kan je.

And I think picking up toys is such a trouble for me. So when it’s clean up time, I ask them to help clean, so they know at least to not leave any toys lying around. My kids help out so much.
