IPC Shopping Centre is proud to host Malaysia’s first-ever “Spartan Kids” challenge at Level G, Concourse of IPC Shopping Centre between 16th of March to 25th of March 2017.The Spartan Kids event is opened to kids aged between 4 – 17 years old. All parents have to do to give kids this unique experience is shop at IPC Shopping Centre, including IKEA Damansara to redeem the participation passes. The passes are redeemable at IPC Shopping Centre’s i-Counter located at Level G. There are two challenge categories to choose from, which include:
Black Pass:
Spend a minimum of RM100 in a single receipt.
ONE (1) Spartan Kids Challenge Entry Pass
ONE (1) Spartan Kids Challenge Finisher Certificate (*upon completion)
Orange Pass:
Spend a minimum of RM300 (maximum combination of 2 receipts).
ONE (1) Spartan Kids Challenge Entry Pass
ONE (1) Spartan Kids Challenge Finisher Certificate (*upon completion)
ONE (1) Spartan Kids Challenge Limited Medal. (*upon completion & while stock lasts)
The Spartan Kids challenge consist of nine different obstacle tracks that will challenge the participants in three core segments – speed, agility and physical strength. Some of the obstacles such as rope climbing and Hercules Hoist involves jumping, crawling, running, climbing but most importantly, fun.
Upon completion of the obstacle course, all participants will be celebrated with an IPC certificate. Those with the Orange Pass will also stand a chance to walk away with a medal (while stocks last) on top of the certificate.
Additionally, the quickest participants to complete the challenges of their age categories will win a trophy and entry pass to the actual Spartan Race taking place on 15th April 2018 in Semenyih, Selangor. The Spartan Kids champions are selected based on the following category:
Boy ( 4 – 13 years old)
Girl ( 4 – 13 years old)
Boy ( 14 – 17 years old)
Girl ( 14 – 17 years old)
To further spread the family-togetherness and positivity among the children of Malaysia, IPC Shopping Centre will also host a special Spartan Kids Challenge event for 150 special needs children from various schools in the Klang Valley. This event will take place on 19th March 2018 from 10.00am to 1.00pm.
