Building on ten years of cord-free technology and twenty years of motors expertise, the latest Dyson V8 Carbon Fibre guarantees powerful cleaning thanks to the Dyson Digital Motor technology inside the machine. It boasts quick transformation between handheld and stick modes, hygienic dirt ejection and a cleaner head that picks up more debris and fine dust are among other advances.
During their Southeast Asia launch in Bangkok, I got a first-hand experience at how amazing this device is. Here are some of my observations:
Easy to Handle
All I had to do was retrieve it from its docking station and vacuum away with a press of a button. No extension needed, no plug-ins required, it’s that easy. A full charge can last up to 40 minutes of fade-free power, which means the strength of its suction is same throughout your usage!
Compact yet Powerful
Considering the size of the motor in this device, the Dyson V8 Carbon Fibre has 30 percent more suction power than its predecessors. Its capability was demonstrated on different types of surfaces using different types of ‘dirt’ from the more apparent bits of corn chips to the fine sprinkles of baking soda. You’ll be amazed at how much dirt the machine picks up even when the dirt isn’t visible to the naked eye.
Versatile & Multipurpose
Not only can it be used for your hard wood flooring, tiles or carpets, the machine’s versatility also makes it easy to use for hard to reach places, your mattress, upholstery, and you can even take it outdoors to clean your car. The Dyson V8 Carbon Fibre also comes with a few different sets of motorheads and tools that will feed your every need.
Speaking about motorheads and tools, if you’re a clean noob like me, you’ll probably be unaware of the exact functions of the different extensions that come with the vacuum cleaner and end up just using one motorhead for every single thing. So here’s a guide that will hopefully clear things up (pun intended).
