This year marks the 5th year of the Parents’ Choice Awards by Parenthood Magazine where we reveal the voices of Malaysian parents on their top choices of brands and service in numerous mum and baby categories.
In an intimate ceremony held at the Colony @ Star Boulevard KLCC last July, 80 winners who won over the trust and votes from Malaysian parents were awarded as the best over the rest in a prestigious ceremony that was held exclusively for the winners to receive their trophy and certificates.
“The Parents’ Choice Awards is exactly that – parents’ choice. Parents are the best judge when it comes to quality and assurance when finding the most suitable products and services for their children; and because of that, our goal with the Parents’ Choice Awards is to identify and bring forward the most trusted brands and services that parents truly rely on,” says Teresa Chin, Chief Editor of Parenthood Magazine.
Earlier in the year, Parenthood’s readers casted their votes for a number of categories of products and services. Progressing from 50 to 80 categories compared to last year, readers had a wider choice of categories to vote for this year.
The proud display of The Hall Of Fame exhibit showcased all the winning products and services this year.
Some of the new categories included Best Kegel Exerciser, Best Indoor Family Attraction, Best Non-Toxic Makeup & Skincare for Kids and Best Tuition Centre, just to name a few.

Leading the winners list this year is R.E.A.L. Kids bagging in 8 different categories including Best Kindergarten Centre (Chain), Best S.T.E.M. Programme (Chain) and also Best Covid-19 Ready Pre-School Facility (Chain).
Baby Atelier won the Best Infant Care Programme, Best Kindergarten Programme and Best Mandarin Programme among others in the boutique category. Pictured here is Ms Faye Tan, Founder of Baby Atelier.
Baby Atelier were also readers favourite with 6 different awards to their name this year, which include, Best Mandarin Enrichment Programme (Boutique), Best Virtual Learning Programme (Boutique) and Best Toddler Programme (Boutique).

When it came to car seat and travel accessories, JOIE topped the list, winning 4 categories – Best Travel Cot Brand, Best Infant Carrier Car Seat Brand, Best Booster Seat Brand and Best Convertible Car Seat Brand.

Making a debut in the Parents’ Choice Awards this year was Resort World Genting’s Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park who won the award for Best Indoor Family Attraction. And with a growing demand of child-friendly makeup and skincare for young children, it was no surprise that Korean brand Jeong Family took home the award for Best Non-Toxic Makeup & Skincare for Kids.
